ITF040: Central Colorado & camping with Mother Nature

inthefieldpodcast-300x300This is In The Field Camping Episode 40, an extended length 2016 Season Finale!  In this episode, Chris gives full reviews of the Silt/Colorado River KOA, Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Maroon Bells, Stoneyard Distillery, Marble Distilling Company, and Woody Creek Distillery.  Chris next sort of went on a rant about dealing with wildlife, with some stories ripped from the headlines and YouTube.  This episode was recorded at the Silt/Colorado River KOA in Colorado, where the ambient freeway noise was evident.

In The Field Camping Podcast with Chris Rodriguez is a podcast that is literally recorded “in the field” while camping at various campgrounds. If we’re not camping, we’re not podcasting! We review campgrounds and camping equipment, suggest tips and advice, and go on camping-related soapbox rants. If you have any questions or comments, leave a voicemail (720)440-1080 or email chris@inthefieldcamping.com

ITF019: Dream home for RV’rs, and more trailer reviews

inthefieldpodcast-300x300This is In The Field Camping Episode 19.  In this episode we discussed considerations for stick-and-brick homes for part-time and full-time RV’rs.  Then it was on to talking about smaller trailers, like teardrops and a-frames.  A special mention (and thanks!) goes out to Christina at tinyyellowteardrop.blogspot.com where she shares her stories and pictures of her teardrop trailer.

We also shared our first trailer buying experience, which also turned unexpectedly into a tow vehicle buying experience.  Mentioned RollinOnTV YouTube Channel, t@b trailers, and A-Liner trailers.

Our YouTube Channel has the added benefit of different original music mixed within the episodes.  On this episode, that music is put directly into the podcast version of the show.  On this show, songs include the show title music “Key To Me”, “Broken Heart”, and “Get Out Of My Head”.
